The wintry red darkness crept through the pores of the walls. With its smoke encircling us, she leads me along a grim filled hall parting the thick smoke in half like the waters of the Red Sea; burgundy the color, cinnamon the smell. It drives chills from the edge of my feet to the borders of my fingers. I probably have stepped into something much more than drug dealing and prostitution. Candles, ancient and medieval in appearance, are the only light source given on our way in. In the back of The Lounge you can hear the music playing and people dancing. She has two huge guards escorting her. I grab hold of my pistol.

“Please, it ain’t that type of party. Ain’t nothing gone happen to you on your journey.” The ‘Sharlonja’ says to me. I’m lost at where she’s leading me.

I promptly ask, “What journey?”

“Into the greatest sexual fulfillment you will ever encounter. Now all I need for you to do is go over these papers and wait here.” We stopped into a room. The room is the color of fall and autumn; dullish brown and burnt. Her body outlines the rust-like area. I sit and act as cool as winter.

There is no ventilation in this quiet secluded room, as the heat rises and I ask, “Excuse me but can I get a glass of water?” The fine print on the papers she gave me hurt my eyes. I strain my sight harder to make them out...
